Golf update Played Wednesday at Dunbar Golf Club. It is a true links style course. It took us a while to get warmed up, and figure out how to hit the required shots. Other than a few too many three putts we both played well. Bill shot an 83, Don shot a 76. The most striking element was the speed at which the Scots play. A difficult links course only took us 3:45 to play. Thursday we played at Winterfield. A short course that the locals play. It only took us 2:45 to play 18 holes. Even a short course in the states takes 4 hours. Bill played very well on thursday shooting a 73. Don also shot 73, but with the handicap system, Don is paying for the pints tonight. Pictures.
